Healthy habbits for the holiday season

If you are looking to have fun this holiday season, now is the time to prepare yourself for it.

Whatever your goal; to fit into that slim dress for your friend’s wedding, to maintain weight throughout the season, get that spark and glow on your skin or just a travel out, these simple tips will keep you in check ahead of this years holiday season.

1. Eat Nourishing Food
Eat balanced diets high in fruits and vegetables, lean protein, low- fat diary and whole grains. This will help up your energy levels.
Be sure to consume a variety of foods from all food groups to get optimum benefits.

2. Get Regular Exercise
Exercise keeps the brain and whole body alive and so it’s important to get about 150 minutes of weekly exercise activity.
This will strengthen your muscles, release any tension buildup, and boost endurance levels of your body.

3. Sleep 7-8 Hours Each Night
This is a healthy habit many people have to improve.
Take these simple steps to improve your sleep quality.
. Sleep and get up at the same times each day
. Allow your bed to be associated with sleep
. Set a timer on your screen time and color to prevent bright lights on your phone keeping you away from sleep.
. Instead of watching the television prior to sleep, read a book
Try meditating before bed

4. Find a skin care routine and stick with it
This will enable you prepare your skin and get that glow before the holiday season.
Try using salt baths, scrubs, spa and massage and steam baths. These are a great way to care for your skin and glow naturally.

Now you also want to enter into the holiday season with good vibes so keep a positive mindset, stay away from drama and negative energy and surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you.
